The RTJ Course
The Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf architecture firm is designing the project’s 18 hole championship golf course. We have defined the final routing plan and we are very pleased and excited to be working with one of the top golf architect firms in the world.
Here’s what they say about our site…
“We have completed our initial feasibility study for the golf course at Liberia, and we are very pleased with what we have seen so far. We are excited about the site’s topography, its vegetation, and its views, especially the dramatic vistas from the rim of the canyon. The beauty and appeal of any golf course derives in large part from the inherent features of its site, and in the case of this course we feel the site offers an excellent canvas for us to draw on, with all of the potential to produce an international-standard, world-class caliber golf course that will attract the attention of golfers from around the world. Given the on-site features, we also feel this golf course has the potential to position itself as one of the top golf courses in Central America, and will garner the attention of golfers who come to Costa Rica for the golf courses along the famed Papagayo Peninsula.”

www.rtj2.com At RTJ II ® we seek to honor the cultural, geographical, and historical aspects of the land while working to reveal and sculpt the best course possible on each unique site. By considering a small number of projects each year—and only pursuing those we’re confident that we’ll be successful with—we’ve created great value for a diverse clientele ranging from municipalities to visionary CEOs to heads of state, from private developers to world-class resorts. Independent research bears this out.
